Toothbrush Bracelets!

Best Blogger Tips

With Earth Day being Thursday, we are doing a few projects this week using items that we would normally throw in the recycle bin. Today we made toothbrush bracelets. I found a bunch of ideas for us to do at Crafts Kaboose. So here is what you will need to make your very own toothbrush bracelets!!
  • Old Toothbrushes (Reach plastic ones work the best)
  • Tweezers
  • Pan for boiling water
  • Cup for ice cold water
  • Tongs
  • Towel
Boil water in a pan.

Take the tweezers and pull out the bristles, this took about 10 minutes per toothbrush and left a small blister on one of my fingers, but once you get a groove of how to pull out 4 or 5 bristles at once, it will go a lot quicker!

Boil the toothbrush for about 4-5 minutes.

Use tongs and pull out the toothbrushes. I used a towel and wrapped it around the toothbrush and bent it to make it in a circle.

Place the toothbrush in the ice cold cup of water and let sit just a minute or two and viola, Toothbrush Bracelet!!See others frugal and thrifty ideas at Coupon Teacher!
