Update- Oh, How My Garden Grows!!

Best Blogger Tips
Photobucket

We have had a lot of rain in the past few weeks, but I think that my garden is still doing pretty good!! The wind knocked off one of the bell peppers over the weekend but other than that, everything else is still standing!!Here are a few pictures of what is growing this week. As you can see, we had to put the fence up. The darn rabbits were just eating too much and basically took up camp in our back yard. Since the fence went up, I have only seen 1 rabbit in the past 4 days. Maybe they got the hint!!

Can you see them? PUMPKINS!!! Last year we planted them too late and never got any, but this year, I think we will have plenty to carve and decorate with come October!!!

Lettuce is starting to sprout back through, maybe it will survive the wrath of the rabbits!!
Jalapenos!!!
Broccoli is coming back!!
Our cucumbers are trying to come back!!!
One lonely tomato!!

Too bad about the lettuce and the rabbits. Sometimes I will throw some netting over the top of the lettuce starts... that usually discourages the little munchers:)

by way of jami's garden party...

Luckily, we don't have rabbits. I but have a lot of trouble with snails and slugs. They eat all seedlings and sprouts, it's so annoying.

Your plantings look great! Thanks so much for hosting the blog hop. I've been looking for a place to get together with other gardeners. :)

Glad your veggies are starting to come back from the rabbits- they are pretty hardy things sometimes. Thanks for linking with the Tuesday Garden Party.

Thanks!! I am glad that so far we do not have slugs or snails. Rabbits have put me on edge. My girls are so funny. They see a rabbit in the yard and start yelling at them to get out of our yard!!

I love seeing everyone's garden, it is nice to see what others are planting. It is giving me ideas for things to add!!

Thanks for Joining the Saturday on the Farm Carnival!

I'm glad your plants are starting to come back after the rabbits did so much damage. For such cute little things, they sure can wreck havoc in a garden.
