If you do not have plans this weekend, you should head on over to The Newport Aquarium for their Ghosts of Pirate Cove event! Starting today you will get to see a underwater face-off from the Ghosts of Pirate Cove! You will also pay just $5 for each child with every adult that pays full price now through October 31 (Up to 4 children). Each child will also receive a coupon for a FREE kids meal at Bob Evans!


There will also be underwater pumpkin carving, pirate shows and underwater sword fights!! These activities purchased individually would cost $69 per person, but buying it as a package, you get all of it for just $48 per person!!

I do not think that you have to use them all in the same day. The fine print states that the Newport Aquarium and Ride the Duck offers are valid until Oct 3, 2010, Reds tickets are good for upper level mezzanine seat during the dates listed above and one Hall of Fame pass good until December 31, 2010. So make sure to ask before you purchase this deal to verify that it can be used for other days if you do not plan to stay the whole day and do all of the activities!!

Also from experience, check the times that each of these activities are available. We did this a few years ago when we had family come up from Florida. We got to the boat and it was already out and on it's last tour for the day. We then went to the Aquarium and when we got out realized that the Hall Of Fame was already closed for the day. Bad planning on our part, but we still had a great time with our family!!

Now through September 3, 2010 the Newport Aquarium is offering 2 kids to get in FREE with each adult that pays full price during their Summer Family Hours.

Summer Family Hours runs all summer long through September 3 - and Sunday through Friday each week. Summer Family Hours starts at 4 pm and goes to 7 pm.

Each kid will also receive a free Bob Evan’s Kid’s meal coupon. Tickets must be purchased at the Newport Aquarium ticket window on the day of your visit and may not be combined with any other coupons or discounts. Strollers are welcome during Summer Family Hours and no coupons are required.

Half Price Admission for Kids at Newport Aquarium!

Now through May 19, 2010 the Newport Aquarium is offering 2 kids to get in at half price with each adult that pays full price. My girls love the Aquarium so most likely we will be visiting very soon!! They do have a new feature called the Penguin Parade. It starts everyday at 10:15am and is FREE with your admission to the Aquarium!

Newport Aquarium Honor Veterans!!

The joints-a-jumpin' to honor our veterans.

Newport Aquarium is honoring all the men and women who've served our country by offering FREE admission during the weekend of November 7th & 8th.

If you, or someone you know, are a member of the military or have ever served in the Armed Forces, just show your Military I.D. at the Newport Aquarium ticket window to receive your free ticket. Additional family members can receive our everyday military discount of $3 off adult tickets and $2 off child tickets for up to four additional tickets per veteran. Tickets must be purchased at the Newport Aquarium ticket window on the day of visit.

Veterans and military personnel can also receive a ½ price ticket (with I.D.) for Ride the Ducks, the WWII amphibious vehicle tours that travel from Northern Kentucky to downtown Cincinnati and onto the Ohio River.
